Entrepreneurs Enter the No-Whining Zone

Do and be, don't sit and stare! Successful entrepreneurs know that action is essential.I’ve always told my boys that if they want to live a happy life, they need to “do and be; don’t sit and stare.” One of the most interesting things I’ve noticed about entrepreneurs who have successfully created multiple streams of income is that they believe in doing and being. They don’t waste time talking about what they plan to do; they just do it. There’s definitely no whining when they talk about their business(es). They don’t talk about:

  • What they’ll do when they have more time
  • What they’ll do when they have more money
  • What they meant to do, but couldn’t for some reason
  • What someone else did that they could have done better
  • What someone else could only have done if they had an advantage
  • Why they didn’t do what they promised to do

Instead, successful individuals understand that action is what counts. Whining about “what might have been” is a complete waste of time. Talking about something you mean to do and haven’t yet done is a waste of time. In many cases, time is all you have to from which to create a stream of income, so wasting it on talk is a very bad idea.

Instead, the only reasonable thing for an entrepreneur to do is to move forward and create another stream of income. While the whiners are explaining why they haven’t done anything, you can be quietly creating something new. Action pays dividends, so DO, don’t talk!
